The influence of power and politics plays vital roles in the decisions made by individuals and groups in an organization. However, such decisions are made based on individual personalities as well as political participation and interests.
There are circumstances when the managers of the organization assume to be making a rational decision within the organization. Power and Politics and in the Organization Other factors include cognitive biases per an individual, commitment as well as sunk outcomes among other variables(Dietrich). Some of the factors that influence decision making include individuals or groups experience, personals relevance, personal values, courage, as well as behaviours styles (Schmitz). However, the validity of decisions made within the organization is influenced by various factorsor variables, especially in a criminal justice organization. In this case, the resolution by the majority of the group members is termed as the group’s decision. On the other hand, decisions can be made by the group. Such a decision can be made at an individual level this means a person makes a decision which affects how other players of stakeholders within the organization act or behave.
Within every organization, there is the decision making process which enhances the management and operations within the organization.
